Client Support & Advice Team:

Client Support Co-Ordinator:   Joyce Browne

Joyce, who has worked in the legal secretarial profession since 1983, is responsible for the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the Client Support & Advice Teams. If you consider the sixty-million people currently living in the UK, you can easily contemplate just how many individuals and families go through the name change process every day, whether this is because of the personal need to adopt a new identity, the need for divorced parents to change their child's name to reflect that of their new partners, immigrants adopting a British moniker, or simply because of gender re-assignment.

The Client Support Teams respond to in excess of two hundred enquiries every day, ranging from requests for advice about changing names to taking applications via the telephone.

The Deed Poll Drafting Team comprises of two key members of staff, each of which are responsible for the drafting of Change of Name Deeds (Deed Polls) for Adults and Children. The Drafting Team and their assistants work to strict deadlines, thus in order to ensure that orders are released to the Dispatch Team on the day the application is received.

The Dispatch Team is responsibile for checking the quality of the document being released and for ensuring that your Deed Poll is delivered both by e-mail and via Royal Mail within the stipulated time scales. This small team of people swiftly dispatch thousands of Deed Polls every year.
